In keeping with Robert Fitzroy's spirit of exploration, adventure and discovery we have given our breakfast club and after school club a name with a nautical theme, reflecting the atmosphere we create for our children every day. Portside Out (P.O), Starboard Home (S.H). Together we are P.O.S.H!

Though not fully proven, the origins of the acronym P.O.S.H 'Portside Out' 'Starboard Home' comes from what was written on the tickets of the upper class passengers on P&0 cruise liners. Travelling ‘Portside Out’ and ‘Starboard home’ meant your cabins would be in the shade, giving you the best travelling experience on your journey.

We'd like to think our wrap-around care does the same for our children on their learning journey. We are proud to be P.O.S.H!

Our P.O.S.H wrap-around care provision means that the school offers an extended day from 07:30am until 18:15pm. You can register for either or both clubs by collecting a form from the school office.
